Wild Flower Holiday Cottage is a deceptively large,
one bedroom cottage, next door to Barn Owl Cottage.
It is ideal for a couple but we can fit a cot easily in the bedroom for your baby.

This is the perfect Honeymoon Cottage and we put flowers and wine in the cottage for you, with our compliments.

You enter straight into a good size kitchen with hand crafted pine units and tiled floor. Well equipped for 2 to 3 people. This has a dish washer, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, electric cooker with extractor fan. All the cutlery, glassware, china, oven and table ware you will need is provided. This leads, open plan into:

Lounge / Dining Room

A lovely, large, relaxing lounge/dining room, overlooking private garden. A 37" PLASMA SCREEN TV, with Freeview, and DVD player. Large, comfortable Leather settee, side tables with lamps, a coffee table. This room has a beautiful granite, slate fireplace with electric 'Wood-burning' effect fire. A lovely dining area, with Walnut table and chairs. This room has a vaulted, beamed ceiling, triple aspect windows, including patio doors to stone patio with barbecue, small table and lounger chairs, own garden and lawn area. Side gate out, leading to country walks or up to the Car Park.

A charming bedroom, with lovely old Double Four Poster bed with lamps each side, bedside tables, antique chest of drawers, fitted cupboard, LCD TV with Freeview. Dual aspect windows. There is room for a cot, or bed/chair for a small child.

Fantastic, newly refurbished bathroom with toilet, wash basin and P shaped, luxurious Jacuzzi Bath, with Shower over. It has lights, and certainly makes having a bath a bit different!

This cottage is equipped with the following great features:

• WiFi enabled
• Iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner and cleaning items.
• Tasteful, matching soft furnishings, Night Storage Heaters in each room. Antique and comfortable country - style furniture.
• The bed will be fully made up for your arrival. Also 2 tea towels and a bath mat are provided. Towel hire is available, please fill in the Booking Form accordingly.
• Plenty of books to read and games to play and DVDs to watch. Many homely touches: Plants, pictures and cushions.
• Cot and High Chair free of charge, but please bring all your baby's linen and towels.
• This cottage has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom en suite.

NB. From 1st October till mid May, are the only times when we accept short beaks, booked as far ahead as required.

The rest of the year (and including Easter, Spring Bank, Christmas and New Year), bookings for short breaks will not be taken until 3 weeks before the required date, as preference is always given to weekly bookings and longer.

Please check the availability charts incase of some exceptions, when there may be an odd short break showing, which is then bookable.

Off Season Holidays: If you want a night or 2 longer than a 2/3 night break, the extra nights are £50 each night, for the cottage, not per person.

November 1st to March 31st heating is included. April 1st to October 31st, heating will be put on for you at a cost of £28 per week or £12 for a 2/3 night break, £16 for 4 nights, etc.

The tenant has to pay a small contribution towards the electricity costs, as these have risen dramatically. There are £1 electric meters in each cottage. They cost about £2 per day, depending on the size of your party, so bring approx. £10 for a week, for 2 of you, perhaps £25 for more people in a larger cottage. If we took a meter reading at the start and the end of your holiday, for you to pay us, it would be considerably more!
