On entering Spiders Web Holiday Cottage, you will notice
the large, Art Deco window, featuring the artwork from
where the cottage gets its name.

You enter into a small hallway, with room for coats and shoes and a curved staircase leading up.

Straight into:

Lounge

Open plan into spacious lounge, open beams throughout, with comfortable leather 3 piece suite, side tables and lamps, coffee table and 42" Plasma Screen TV with Freeview, and DVD player. Lovely exposed stone work on one wall, a Pine cupboard with books, DVDs, board games. Large cupboard under the stairs with vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board and cleaning items. Dual aspect windows and patio doors leading to patio, own barbecue, table and chairs and out to gardens beyond.

From entrance hallway, curved stairway leads up to:

Bedroom 1

A fantastic, spacious Gallery bedroom, beautifully furnished with 5ft Sleigh bed and memory foam mattress. Table and dressing table to each side with table lamps. Walnut wardrobe and chest of drawers. LCD TV with Freeview. Single chair which will open up to form a small bed for a young child (6th person). A cot will easily fit in this room.

Lovely large window overlooking the gardens. Door leads off to:

En Suite Bathroom

This is a recently built addition to this lovely bedroom. It has a bath with shower mixer taps, toilet and washbasin. Lovely old stained glass windows let the light flood in from the stairwell.

Back downstairs. Three steps lead down from the lounge to:

Kitchen / Dining Room

This is a lofty room, high ceilinged in part, with original beams on show. Beautifully equipped and has a washing machine, dishwasher, gas cooker, microwave and all the cutlery, china, glassware, oven and tableware for up to 6 people. In a corner of this lovely room is a pretty Oak settle, with Oak dining table and chairs. The window looks out over the gardens.

Leading off from a corner of the kitchen is a small hallway, with door to:

Bathroom 2

A good sized family bathroom, recently refurbished with a P shaped shower/ bath, toilet and wash basin. Beautifully tiled and the window looks out over the courtyard.

From the small hallway, down four curved, slate steps with a rope handrail, are:

Bedroom 2

Bedroom 2 is very pretty with twin 2ft 6ins beds. These beds can be zipped together to form a 5ft king size bed, for one or two adults, if needed. Wardrobe, chest of drawers and wash hand basin. Bedside table lamps. Window looks out over the gardens.

Also from the hallway, door to:

Bedroom 3

This is very cute and small, ideal for a child. It has a 2ft 6ins single bed and chest of drawers, with clothes hooks on the wall for hanging space. Bedside table lamp. A small window faces the courtyard.

Full Oil Fired Central heating now installed throughout.

This holiday cottage is equipped with the following great features:

• Beds for the number of people booked will be fully made up for your arrival. Also 2 tea towels and bath mats are provided. Towel hire is available, please fill in the Booking Form accordingly.

• Cot and High Chair free of charge, but please bring all your baby's linen and towels.
• This holiday cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 en suite upstairs).

NB. 1st October till mid May, are the only times when we accept short beaks, booked as far ahead as required.

The rest of the year (including Easter, Spring Bank, Christmas and New Year), bookings for short breaks will not be taken until 3 weeks before the required date, as preference is always given to weekly bookings and longer. Please check the availability charts in case of some exceptions, when there may be an occasional short break showing, which is then bookable.

Also please note that the full occupancy rate is applicable from April till October, up to 3 weeks before the required date, when we will then accept, for example, a family of 4 in August, for £800,or a couple-only for £610.

Off Season Holidays: If you want a night or 2 longer than a 2/3 night break, the extra nights are £50 each night, for the cottage, not per person.

November 1st to March 31st heating is included. April 1st to October 31st, heating will be put on for you at a cost of £28 per week or £12 for a 2/3 night break, £16 for 4 nights, etc.

The tenant has to pay a small contribution towards the electricity costs, as these have risen dramatically. There are £1 electric meters in each cottage. They cost about £2 per day, depending on the size of your party, so bring approx. £10 for a week, for 2 of you, perhaps £25 for more people in a larger cottage. If we took a meter reading at the start and the end of your holiday, for you to pay us, it would be considerably more!
